Goals
- Decipher a slew of investment products: Stocks, Futures, Options, Rights issues, IPOs, ETFs, . . .
- Develop advanced analytics to gauge the underlying sentiment, momentum and value in the stock market.
- Create system-based investment strategies, using a combination of technical, fundamental & quantitative data.
- Demonstrate proper money management, using position sizing & stop loss techniques.
- Implement overall portfolio risk management, using Futures & Options strategies.
Are we there yet?
No, not yet.
We both left our jobs and started full time on Moneyoga in August 2007. We've had to spend time programming & testing our back-end systems, databases and the website.
We also have to spend a significant amount of time studying & trading the markets to help us figure out how to create a valuable resource for investors in India.
A lot of work still remains to be done on the strategies & money management front.
What we have set out to do will take time; but as we work towards our goals, we will share our progress.
